Finally my summer classes are done and I must say that summer classes are the freaking worst. 4 months is condensed into 2 months and it's tough. I passed 2 out of the 3 classes I took. I would normally be super disappointed in myself for not passing one of my classes, but the way the teacher did the course was one of the laziest and half hearted attempts at teaching ever. All the points in the term came from tests and that was silly. I didn't even take the final exam because there was no chance for me. I know not to have that professor again though. ANYWAYS. I am excited because we are going to Denmark for Christmas this year. We went there for summer last year and my husband gets to be there for Christmas. This will be my 3rd Christmas there, so I am super excited. I am already making a list of stuff I need to get before we go.
I am totally getting this cushion. It's amazing. I need my privacy on a 9 hour flight.

I am also getting a passport cover. I always feel so awkward flashing my USA passport around in foreign countries. In fact they even advise against flashing it around lol. So I am still trying to decide between these two:
I am thinking about the cat one because it reminds me of my cat who died Purrty. I dunno though!! Still deciding! I am also gonna get a new luggage tag. Traveling to Europe 4 times really makes you hyper aware of your travelling needs!

# Reflection Post

So I am most of the way through this term in school. I have never been so excited to finally be doing something useful with my life. For the first time I get really excited about my future prospects. When I was doing veterinary technology, I knew in the back of my mind that I would have to deal with sick, dying, about to die, severely injured, and un-cared for pets. I kept telling myself it would be worth it in the end because I would be able to help the animals. I don't know how I fooled myself so thoroughly. I had actually convinced myself that it would be okay. My cat dying really shocked my senses. The way I acted in the vet's office when I had him put to sleep was a very clear 'hello' to my senses. I cried and cried... and was a mess. I couldn't deal with that every day. As much as I love animals would hinder me. I wouldn't be able to deal with loss after loss. So now I feel like I am finally getting somewhere. I can see myself teaching. I get excited about teaching. I know I can make a difference in that grim area between grades 4-9. That was my worst time in school, and I want to be there to help other kids. School has also taken a lot of time and energy. When I came home from Denmark in July of 2012, I was a changed person. I really was. I was lost and felt very inside of myself. I ended up pushing away a very good friend of mine and I feel bad for it. I can't change who I am though. It's taken a very long time inside of myself to figure out where I was going in life. I am starting to come back around and I kinda see the destruction in my wake. I have tons of student loan debt, which I regret to the tune of about $20,000 lol. It sucks, but I see my life turning around. Finally.
Sooooo.
We married with haste on a cold March day. 5 years later we are still together. I don't even know how we stand eachother :p j/k, but seriously lol. We have been together since 2005 and have been friends since 1999. Oh boy lol.

# My really lame orthopedic shoes...
Saturday, January 26, 2013 / permalink
So I got my orthopedic shoes and they are a size 9 1/2! I wear a size 8- 8 1/2 normally, but apparently my feet are weird because my toes are really short, but my feet are wide, so they had to balance it out. I have to wear them around to the house to get used to them.

# Life Update

So I went to the knee doctor finally and they said pretty much the same thing they always say, I have chondromalacia patella so that was nothing new. My right kneecap is however a bit out of place, it's just roaming around lol. I also learned this time around that have weak hips and they aren't strong enough to support my knees. DAMN YOU HIPS! So I have been assigned physical therapy and I have to get special shoes. Oh the joy.
I actually did end up getting tickets for a NHL hockey game! My husband and I are hockey fans, so for our 5 year wedding anniversary (8 years together) I got use tickets to go see the Anaheim Ducks. We are both super excited!

| Don't worry these aren't boobs lol As you can see my right kneecap is not where it's supposed to be. |

This week has been ecspecially bad for me because yesterday/today was the year anniversary of the death of my 18 year old cat Purrty. He was my best friend and was with me in the morning and in my bed at night. It's been a hard year without him. There hasn't been a week where I haven't cried. I miss him. I even have a painted portrait of him lol. He was so important to me.

1. Get my knees fixed.
I know my knees will never be good, but I want to take care of them as much as possible. I have an appointment with the specialist on the 14th. Yay!
2. Lose Some More Weight
I lost 32 pounds in 2012, I know that isn't a lot, but I want to lose more this year.
3. Keep up on my design projects
I need to make sure I keep a very tight schedule with my design projects. I am terrible at it!
4. Don't procrastinate on my school work!
I need to make sure I keep a normal studying schedule and not wait until the last minute to do things.
Things I Love Already in 2013

I have a ton of stuff to do for my blog business, but I don't feel like it. I keep saying I will do it tomorrow... then tomorrow comes and BLAH. Luckily I got some stuff done today

# Autum.. the teacher?
Thursday, November 1, 2012 / permalink
So I am 28 and I really haven't been that sure where my life has been going. Yes, I am married, yes I have various skills in various things, but even with all that it's been a weird road for me educationally speaking. So the very first time I started college, I started pretty late (2006) by this time I was already 22, 4 years later than most people start college. I just got my GED then and picked early childhood education. I completed a semester and learned that I didn't really like little little kids. It's not that I don't like them, just that I don't find them as endearing as other people. So I then decided to do photography, I completed almost 2 years of that. I then decided, hey, this is costing me a lot of money I don't have, but really, what did I expect going to the art institute? Not only that but the job market was extremely bleak. I am a great animal lover. I love helping animals. I knew the road I wanted to take was to help animals. That's when I started school to become a veterinary technology student. I loved it. It was very stressful, but I knew that is what I wanted to do with my life. About 6 months into school I had to put my 18 year old cat Purrty to sleep. It was the hardest and most traumatizing event of my adult life. Even Though I loved animals, I had to stop my path to become a veterinary technician. I can't even think about a vet's office without getting a pang of panic and sadness. I knew I couldn't deal with that on a daily basis, sure I would be helping animals, but I don't have the guts for it. I really don't. So at this point my husband is pissed at me because I am already like $18,000 or more in debt from student loans. Now I think I want to go back to the education field. I want to do something I can do anywhere, and I was really good and creating curriculum (yes I did take classes before). I think I will keep this mostly to myself, because I don't want people to see me fail again. Every Time I decide something, I am always so optimistic, so I hope I can be 100% with this. So here is the coursework for the transfer program into Ashland University.

# Election
So today I got my voting on! There were surprisingly a lot of people out to vote early. I have no problems telling people who I voted for.............. OBAMA! Why? Because I am a woman; I would be half brain dead to vote for a guy who doesn't care anything about women!
This is what I posted on my facebook:

This is what I posted on my facebook:
This is the last thing I will say about the election. If you think women are ignorant and we can't make our own choices, that we should not be paid as much as our brothers because we are female; our country should be run by people whose personal agenda is greater than that of the people in this country; a country founded on religious freedom should be ran by people whose religious views influence the masses on choices that have nothing to do with politics, want a government that would define traditional marriage as that between a man and a woman when NOTHING in this country is traditional and hasn’t been for a long time (hello everyone and their 8 marriages *wave*), would literally take away the only source of healthcare that the poor have leaving millions of children not able to see a doctor, you want to leave young mothers without any true options in an unwanted pregnancy, you want your veterans, the people who fight for you EVERY DAY who come home scarred with mental illness to be brushed to the side, you want your sister, daughter, mother, or wife who was raped to be told: “don’t worry, that was god’s will”, or “hey it was inevitable, you should have enjoyed it.” How about: “you could have shut down this rape if it was legitimate, your body has ways of doing that you know.” You want an administration that will see as nothing more than a number. AWESOME. Vote for Romney 2012. If your only reason to vote for Romney is to get that black guy out of the White House, you shouldn't be allowed to vote.

# Death...

Yesterday was my Dad's fiance's funeral. Funerals are totally not my scene, but really, who loves funerals? I saw a bit of my family and friends. It was nice to see people I haven't seen in awhile. It was just so sad that she had to die so young. I will post her obituary here just for my own personal remembrance. I can't remember if I ever appoligized to her for yelling at her, but wherever she is, I am sure she knows I am sorry.
